Artiste
faisant usage principalement de la photographie, je travaille sur
l’adaptabilité de ce médium à l’espace et à la façon dont il interagit avec le
spectateur. Je suis particulièrement attentive aux changements des espaces
artificiels (рукотворный – créé par la main) sous
l’influence des causes naturelles et historiques. La nature, selon moi, n’est
pas une entité irrémédiablement abîmée par l’action humaine, mais plutôt un
organisme puissant et fluctuant, indéniablement sublime, capable d’absorber sesoffenseurs et de guérir ses plaies. De son côté, l’Histoire, malgré sa
simultanéité avec nos vies, semble toujours avoir un pas d’avance, et chacune
de nos grandes décisions arrive en retard, de quelques jours, quelques mois ou
quelques décennies. C’est avec ce poids du temps que je travaille l’aura des
espaces de conservation, de réparation, de conception et d’exhibition des
œuvres d’art. Les expérimentations avec l’image photographique que j’entreprends
sont le plus souvent une façon d’aiguiser la vision du spectateur sur leur
contenu, plus que le questionnement du medium en soi : le monde
contemporain se noyant dans le flux continu des images photographiquement
exactes, je ressens le besoin de développer une dimension haptique des œuvres
photographiques.

As an artist who mainly uses photography, I work on the adaptability of this medium to space and the way it interacts with the viewer. I am particularly attentive to changes in artificial spaces (рукотворный - created by hand) under the influence of natural and historical causes. Nature, in my view, is not an entity irremediably damaged by human action, but rather a powerful and fluctuating organism, undeniably sublime, capable of absorbing its offenders and healing its wounds. History, for its part, despite its simultaneity with our lives, always seems to be a step ahead, and each of our major decisions comes a few days, a few months or a few decades late. It's with this weight of time that I work on the aura of the spaces in which works of art are conserved, repaired, designed and exhibited. The experiments I undertake with the photographic image are more often a way of sharpening the viewer's vision regarding their content, than a questioning of the medium itself: as the contemporary world drowns in the continuous flow of photographically accurate images, I feel the need to develop a haptic dimension to photographic works.
